Exertis Ireland has secured a significant contract with eir, the principal provider of fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services in Ireland. As part of its service offering to eir, Exertis Ireland will manage handset purchasing, warehousing, order fulfilment and returns.
The project itself was managed over a three month duration by a dedicated team focused on delivering systems and processes that meet with eir’s exacting requirements, but would also be scalable to meet the future needs of the eir business model. Our SAP software platform was deployed to manage the business in its entirety and is fully integrated to the eir systems for receipt and confirmation of shipment and also carrier integration for full shipment traceability. Exertis also deployed an order placement portal, fully integrated to SAP, allowing retail outlets to enter orders directly and process returns, but also allowing eir HQ to manage order allocation processes. The portal is fully integrated with the SAP software platform at the back end for the processing of all order requirements.
Unique to the Exertis offering is the ability to deploy functionality to meet requirements, integrate and deploy tools to manage orders and also leverage our existing knowledge of the telecommunications sector.
